Iqraa is founded in 1998 by the Arab Media Corporation (AMC), Iqraa is the first ever Islamic satellite channel. Located within an Arab and Islamic framework, Iqraa addresses through its diversified programming all members of the Muslim family. First, Iqraa broadcasts through six satellites: Arabsat 2B/4B – Nilesat 101 Hotbird 8 – Asiasat 2 – Anik F3.
